At this year’s leading trade fair Holz-Handwerk, AL-KO Extraction Technology presented the PROFI JET series with the new convenient AL-KO High Performance control generation. Visitors to the stand were shown the new touchscreen display by the AL-KO Extraction Technology team and were able to see the simple, intuitive and customizable system control for themselves.
Modular design, scalable system
The highlight of the PROFI JET is its modular design, which allows the system filter unit to be optimally adapted to the customer’s wishes and requirements: The PROFI JET is designed for an extraction capacity from 12,000 m³/h volume flow up to over 140,000 m³/h volume flow. Thanks to the double-walled panel construction insulated with mineral fiber insulation, it offers a high level of protection against noise pollution and excellent thermal insulation as standard. The optionally available filter monitor enables recirculated air operation without fresh air supply. This saves enormous heating costs in cold temperatures.
The patented AL-KO OPTI JET® filter cleaning system (also integrated in the AL-KO POWER UNIT clean air dust extractors) ensures consistently high extraction performance: the filter elements are cleaned of adhering dust and chips fully automatically by a blast of compressed air, which also increases the service life of the filters. In addition, there is a wide range of options for individual system configuration and an extensive range of accessories to choose from, not least frequency inverters for adjusting the fan performance as required.
Also in the focus of visitors - clean air dedusters and paint mist extraction
The trade visitors also showed great interest in the mobile clean air dedusters from the AL-KO POWER UNIT series, which were on display in several current versions and performance levels. The AL-KO COLOUR JET paint mist extraction system was also on show at the stand: It removes pigments, additives and other harmful components that are released during wet painting. Available in four performance levels and with many options for individual adaptation, the COLOUR JET always offers sufficient reserves – and is also certified for ATEX zone 2.
Positive conclusion
The AL-KO team of experts was able to answer many questions and make new contacts at the Holz-Handwerk trade fair stand. Michael Seitz, Head of AL-KO Extraction Technology, draws a positive conclusion from the trade fair: “This year, trade fair visitors were increasingly interested in our energy-efficient drive and control technology, which is used, for example, in the modular PROFI JET system filter unit. Holz-Handwerk 2024 was a complete success for us, and we are taking interesting discussions, exciting suggestions and innovative ideas back home with us to Jettingen-Scheppach.“
