High-performance AL-KO CLEAN UNIT F W3* mobile welding fume filters are ideal for extraction during welding of high-alloy steels. In addition to manual and automated welding processes, they can also be used in welding robots. The W3 approval mark allows the return of the filtered air into the workspace.
The fumes that occur at the welding point are captured by extraction arms and hoods and conducted through a pipeline to the suction nozzles of the AL-KO CLEAN UNIT F W3. Coarse particles are filtered out there in a large pre-separator chamber. The following filter cartridges of dust class “M” filter out the remaining fine dust. During operation the filter cleaning system, which is controlled by differential pressure, removes particles adhering to the filter cartridges. Venturi tubes on the filter cartridges increase the cleaning effect while ensuring steady suction force and long filter life. A volume flow monitor constantly monitors the required suction capacity and signals a warning if drops below the set value. The separated dust is collected in an easily movable container lined with a collection bag for low-dust disposal. The filtered air is returned to the room at the top of the unit.
