Wet Separator AL-KO AQUA JET
Extraction systems for dust and chips with filtration through a water bath. The wet separators of the AL-KO AQUA JET series are suitable for single station and multi station extraction. They reliably and safely separate critical substances such as metal dust, metal chips (including aluminum in special versions), as well as glass or ceramic dust. They can also be used for processes with sparks or for removing oily, moist particles.

Functionality
During extraction, the dust laden air enters the raw gas collector at the top of the wet separator and is guided through multiple air deflections into the water bath inside the separation chamber. The particles contained in the airflow (metal chips, metal dust, glass dust, or ceramic dust) bind to the water and settle. Separated material is flushed out of the housing through a drain valve. A droplet separator removes most of the moisture from the cleaned air, which then exits again at the top of the housing.
