Hydraulic briquetting presses APC/APV by AL-KO
Briquetting presses compact extracted materials, such as chips and dust, into briquettes. Not only does this significantly reduce the volume of the materials – up to 90 per cent, depending on the material. It also removes loose particles from the extraction system, reducing the risk of fire and explosion. The briquetting presses are tailor-made for the central filter systems and clean air dust extractors from AL-KO Extraction Technology.

Operating principle
In the case of high-volume material, AL-KO briquette presses are the ideal supplement to pure air dust extractors and stationary extraction systems from AL-KO. The briquette presses are mounted in place of collecting containers under the filter unit. The separated material is compressed, reducing it to a fraction of the original volume instead of simply collecting it. The pressed material is discharged in briquette form for further use.
