Mobile dust extractor for the bulk materials industry
The units of the AL-KO CLEAN UNIT DEx series are available in four performance classes with volume flows ranging from 2,000 to almost 6,000 m3/h. In the DEx version, they are ideal for use in the bulk materials industry: Equipped with an automatic filter cleaning system and a spark trap on the intake, the AL-KO CLEAN UNIT DEx is also suitable for dry extraction of class ST1 explosive dusts. These include dusts released during the processing of plastics such as GRP, CfK, GMPU, polyester, PTFE and also rubber. Other explosive dusts are generated during the processing of flour, wood, cellulose and during the production of food and animal feed.
Approved for vacuuming aluminum dust
Small particle sizes of metal dusts, for example from aluminum, can also lead to an explosion – aluminum dust is also filtered out effectively and explosion-proof from the ambient air at the workplace by the AL-KO CLEAN UNIT DEx. The unit returns the cleaned air back into the work area. As a mobile clean air deduster, the CLEAN UNIT DEx is designed for extraction at several extraction points.

At POWTECH, AL-KO Extraction Technology will be exhibiting the CLEAN UNIT DEx at the joint stand of the industry association VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V.) in Hall 2, Stand 2-204. The company has been an active member of the “Allgemeine Lufttechnik” trade association for many years.
In addition to the mobile clean air dedusters, AL-KO Extraction Technology will also provide information at the trade fair about the complete further product range with powerful extraction solutions from 600 to over 150,000 m3/h air volume flow. With modern technology such as energy-efficient IE4 class motors (available as an option) and in combination with heat recovery systems from the AL-KO Air Technology range, there are almost unlimited possibilities for clean, healthy air in the workplace.
